Golf Course Construction Management

WHY?

Becoming a Golf Course Construction superintendent requires a combination of people management skills and construction knowledge with special emphasis on soil properties, drainage, grading operations, turfgrass establishment, and equipment operation. Successful construction managers must be able to take the initial design work of a golf course architect and use it to transform a parcel of land into an aesthetically pleasing and challenging golf course. Your expertise will provide outstanding playing surfaces for the recreational and professional golfers for years to come.

There are over 17,000 golf course facilities in the US and approximately 180 courses in Maryland. Renovation of existing courses and new course construction require educated and experienced golf course construction superintendents.
